Alabaré

Alabaré is a charity supporting vulnerable, homeless and marginalised people.  We help them transform their lives, providing accommodation and helping them gain the skills, confidence, and opportunities to live a fulfilled life. We have exciting vacancies awaiting dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated care and support workers.

As an apprentice you will be instrumental in supporting our service users and you will enjoy working with a great team in an environment where no two days are the same. If you believe everyone deserves a home and you’d like to break away from a boring 9-5 job, then reach out to learn more.

We offer great staff benefits that include: Excellent accredited training, pension, cycle to work scheme, paid travel time during the working day, generous annual leave allowance, flexible working (where possible), “refer a friend to work paid scheme” sickness allowance, subsidised gym membership and more.

Experience not essential as full training will be provided for the right applicants with the right attitude and work ethic.

Level 3 Adult Health & Social Care
Level 5 Adult Health & Social care
Level 5 Leadership & Management

All our staff are taken on a 6-month probation, on completion of which they will be put onto the Apprenticeship scheme.

This ensures that all our staff whether apprentices or not are on the same pay scale  (currently £10.20 to £10.60 an hour)

This ensures that we can provide a rolling apprenticeship start rather than set term time dates.

More information

We continually look at ways to develop our apprenticeship provision. Essentially if the role requires further training, we are committed to finding ways to deliver the training as we want all our staff members to be as well trained as possible.

All training will be on site at your place of work or central services. We have 2 apprenticeship providers we work with currently.

We deliver services across the South West & Wales, however, most of our work is centralised around Salisbury & Amesbury.

Our recruitment is on a rolling basis you can start with us at any time of year.
