Salisbury City Council
Salisbury City Council was established in April 2009 following local government reorganisation and is based at The Guildhall in Salisbury’s historic Market Place.
The council is responsible for running certain services – including the maintenance of parks.
Salisbury is fortunate to be home to a number of parks and green spaces which provide residents and visitors opportunities for sport, leisure and recreation. Salisbury City Council takes great pride in these areas and is dedicated to keeping the city green and in bloom throughout the year.
We have an established apprenticeship programme for Grounds Operatives and take on an apprentice every year. We are looking to continue to develop our apprenticeship offer to other roles.
Our Grounds people take the Level 2 Horticulture and Landscape apprenticeship and do their training with Sparsholt College.
