Wessex Water have an exciting range of apprenticeship opportunities.

Depending on which route you take, you could find yourself:

  • In a design team providing services from concept design through to construction
  • Looking for environmentally sustainable solutions to water quality problems
  • In our in-house construction team building and maintaining our assets
  • In a team of modellers and software users creating best in industry digital design solutions for our construction works
  • Training to become part of our highly skilled EM&I teams working on hundreds of different types of pumps, valves and motors.
  • Helping us save water by finding leaks in our 7,474 miles of mains
  • Gaining a degree in quantity surveying – with no university fees!
  • Being part of our mainlaying teams responsible for renewing and replacing the 40,000km of water mains and sewer pipes within the Wessex Water region.
  • Completing our Higher Level Science Technician apprenticeship to become a scientist by gaining a foundation degree without going to university.
  • Training to be part of a team responsible for operating and maintaining our sewer network, including rising mains, sewer overflows and sewage pumping stations.
  • Becoming a water production technician apprentice and be responsible for producing clean, safe water which is supplied to our customers taps.
