More information

Apprenticeship provision at Wiltshire Police is under constant review and development. All vacancies are reviewed for their suitability and we hope to advertise more apprenticeships going forward in the future. We currently have over 140 apprenticeships live in force, ranging from Level 3 to Level 7.

Wiltshire Police are a supporting training provider. We have partnered with The University of South Wales to deliver the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship and Police Community Support Officer Apprenticeship, however all training will take place within Wiltshire.

The majority of knowledge-based training is delivered online with elements of face to face at Devizes Headquarters. A full driving license is essential for this role. Although majority of training is based in Devizes, employees are expected to travel across Wiltshire as required. Once initial training is complete (approx. 24 weeks) Police Officers can be posted to any location within Wiltshire.

We run Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) cohorts 4 times a year with an annual recruitment drive, normally a year prior.
